Private International Law - Antique Braille Book
This antique book is truly a unique piece. This French course of Private International Law is written entirely in braille. Braille is a tactile writing system used by people who are visually impaired; created by the French Louis Braille (4 January 1809 – 6 January 1852).
The book label is leather rather than paper and the hard front cover shows a very clear line from sun-damage.
Little is known about the origin of this book.
- Language: French braille
- Date: Unknown; likely late 1800s, early 1900s
- Hard cover with cardboard, cloth and leather
Not only are these antique pages and books a great addition to any collector's cabinet of curiosities; nor are they simply a stunning conversation piece with real historic value; they could also be used as authentic assets to add to the immersion of your roleplay tabletop games.
